The K2-FirstSpear Ergonomic Canine Vest was designed by a military working dog veterinarian to allow for uninhibited stride and shoulder movement. By reducing weight, constriction, and pressure points; this sleek, breathable, and lightweight vest moves naturally with your canine to effectively distribute equipment weight during patrol. 

The chest “Y” strap places the stabilizing anchor of the vest mid-sternum, as opposed to on the forelimbs as with many other vests.  

The buckle enclosures cinch the Ergonomic Canine Vest to your canine’s girth and dorsal handles and D-rings allow you to quickly and reliably secure and transport your working canine. 

FirstSpear 6/12™ technology also reduces the weight by up to 50% and extends the entire height and length of the lateral midline. This provides you with the most position options for custom integration of your mission-specific equipment and sensors.

The FirstSpear 6/12™ technology eliminates the webbing and stitching components of traditional modular load bearing designs. The 6/12 platform will work with any MOLLE pockets (just like any other laser-cut MOLLE), but the 6/12 pouches will only mount to 6/12 Platform. The 6/12™ Pocket Attachment System uses state of the art fabric technologies to deliver a completely modular system. This system achieves a 20%-40% reduction in weight per standard Assaulter configuration when compared to traditional MOLLE pockets.
