The DrugTest 5000 Test Kits are ergonomically designed, easy to handle, and immediately ready for use. They consist of a test cassette and a sample collector. The test kit can be handled with or without gloves by right-handed or left-handed persons.
The test result is clearly displayed, making misinterpretation impossible.
Made from a rigid porous material with capillary properties, this non-invasive test allows hygienic handling. Any contact with the sample and its components is prevented.
The Dräger DrugTest 5000 system consists of two main components: the DrugTest 5000 Test Kits and the DrugTest 5000 Analyzer. It is a fast and highly accurate system for testing saliva samples for substances such as amphetamines, designer amphetamines, opiates, cocaine and its metabolites, benzodiazepines, cannabinoids, ketamine or methadone.
Storage and shelf life
Test kits must be stored at temperatures between 4 and 30 °C (39 to 86 °F) in their original foil pouch packaging. Do not use a test kit if the enveloping foil pouch is broken and has, for example, holes or tears. Immediately use the test kit after opening the packaging. The test kit must not be used after the expiration date, which is clearly printed on the foil pouch.
